Objectives:
The BIM or Building Information Modelling is a process for creating and managing information on a construction project across the project lifecycle. HK Government has policy to promote BIM implementation in HK which is direct impacting to the AEC industry, but it also brings opportunities to the manufacturing sectors, cos manufacturers have to build their products/components to facilitate to incorporate into the BIM model design. One of the key outputs of this process is the Building Information Model, the digital description of every aspect of the built asset. The Hong Kong Construction Industry is paying effort to promote the BIM to the industrial practitioners. The webinar informs the experienced engineers and experts to share the experience and latest development of technology and certification and also the potential opportunities for the manufacturing sectors.
