Programme Highlights
Failure Analysis Associates (FaAA), former “Exponent” was founded in
Palo Alto, California, in 1967. FaAA decided to pioneer a new field -
investigating how and why failures and accidents occur. Exponent now operates
20 offices across the United States and offices in the United Kingdom,
Switzerland, Germany and China. Exponent provides engineering, scientific,
environmental and health consulting services to corporations, insurance
carriers, government agencies, law firms and individuals. The services not only
provides analyzing accidents and failures to determine their causes, but also
covers with human health, environmental, engineering and regulatory issues
associated with new products or processes to help prevent problems in the
predicted future.
Dr. HUANG is going to share his failure investigation experience with us
during the seminar. His expertise is in product liability, intellectual
property, emerging technology due diligence and technology dispute resolution.
