Programme Highlights
Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) have one big thing in common. They both have the remarkable ability to alter our perception of the world. Where they differ, is the perception of our presence. Virtual reality is able to transpose the user. In other words, bring us some places else. Through closed visors or goggles, VR blocks out the room and puts our presence elsewhere. The application of virtual and augmented reality (VAR) is broadly applied in various engineering industry for training in this couple of years. We will invite distinguished speakers to share their experience and know-how with case studies in the technical seminar.
