Programme Highlight

To appreciate the innovative design of robots and stair-climbing tools together with their manufacturing or fabrication, a visit will be made to the following two factories in Foshan:

O-Matic Intelligent Robot Ltd (www.o-matic.cn) A Hong Kong company with a factory in Foshan making cable robots, transportation robots, welding robots and grinding robots

B-Free Tech Ltd (www.bfreetech.com) A Hong Kong enterprise developing high-quality multi-functional stairs climbing power wheelchairs with a production base in Foshan.

All members interested in robots design, manufacturing processes and advanced toolings are welcome to join the visit.

Itinerary:

9:00 am:                           Assemble and take coach at Shenzhen Bay Port

9:00 am – 11:30am        Travel to Foshan

11:30 am – 12:45 pm:    Lunch

12:45 pm – 1:00 pm       Travel to O-Matic

1:00 pm – 3:00 pm:        Visit O-Matic Intelligent Robot Ltd

3:00 pm – 3:10 pm:        Travel to B-Free

3:10 pm – 4:30 pm:        Visit B-Free Tech Ltd

4:30 pm – 7:00 pm:        Travel to Shenzhen

7:00 pm:                           Disband at Shenzhen Bay Port

Charge

HK$ 250 per head (including transportation and lunch)
HK$200 for members of HKIE MI or MMNC Divisions, or members of IET HK

Please note that participants are required to buy travel insurance by themselves

Registration & Enquiries

Prior registration is required and applications will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis. The number of participants is limited to 20.
