Organized by
HKIE-Manufacturing and Industrial
Division
(Annual
General Meeting of MI Division will be held at 6:30pm)
Language: Cantonese (supplemented with English Terms)
Programme Highlights
Innovation can no longer be seen as the product of
occasional inspiration by experts or R&D people. Stanford University’s
survey indicated that the major source of innovative ideas is from employees.
Thus innovation should be promoted to all employees of an organization.
Industrial engineering is a versatile and diverse discipline concerned with the
design, analysis, and optimization of systems.
So industrial engineers are one of the best professions to promote total
participation of innovation.
This talk also introduces the Innovative Quality Improvement
(IQI) methodology, developed by the speaker, which fits well to this changing
paradigm.

Ir Dr Victor LO
