What is MIS?

MIS stands for Manufacturing, Industrial & Systems Engineering. It is a multidisciplinary field that integrates engineering, management, and technology. MIS aims to optimize complex systems and processes. According to the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), MIS covers three branches: Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Systems Engineering.
